Brad is the National Sales and Specification manager for Terra Lana.  With 18 years’ experience in the construction industry, Brad has a passion for sustainability, thermal and acoustic performance in buildings and educating on the benefits of NZ wool fibre.

Prior to working in the construction industry, Brad travelled the globe as a top amateur golfer and was the Canterbury Golfer of the Year three years running.  He lives in North Canterbury, has three kids and loves trout fishing.

Owner and operator of BEO Ltd, Denise has been testing Houses in New Zealand since 2012. New Zealand is currently lacking in building science,  theory and practice and Blower Door testing is that practical application. Jesse Clarke

Jesse Clarke

Jesse Clarke joins Pro Clima with more than 15 years’ experience in the construction industry. He holds the technical lead role of the Building Science Manager, servicing Australia and New Zealand. Jesse is an active advocate for a holistic approach to the development of industry guidance, standards and codes.

As the chairman of the AIRAH special technical group for building envelope physics he is driving standardisation around the use of hygrothermal analysis (WUFI®) for healthier and more durable buildings.

Matthew Cutler-Welsh

Matthew Cutler-Welsh

Matthew’s mission is to inspire people to make a better place to live. He is currently the Education Manager for Pro Clima New Zealand.

Matthew has over 10 years of experience leading residential energy efficiency projects, including nearly four years as Technical Manager for Homestar at the New Zealand Green Building Council. In 2016 he joined the Board of the Passive House Institute New Zealand. He also sits on the advisory group of the Exceeding the Minimums research stream for BRANZ.

Prior to training as an engineer, Matthew was an Outward Bound instructor in New Zealand and the US.

Richard Hollard

Richard Hollard

Richard has been working in the building industry for 13 years, including some time on the tools as an apprentice builder. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Ag) degree from Massey, and has always been interested to find out how things work. Richard enjoys being able to explain the science behind better building methods. He's experienced in communicating with designers, builders and homeowners. He also enjoys mountain biking, home renovations and landscaping. When he gets time, Richard also likes to spend time with his family in the outdoors.

Robert Tait

Robert Tait

Robert learnt the art of joinery and cabinet making, firstly as a boat builder. Since then he's gain a variety of valuable experience in the building industry. He's worked as a Project Manager for one of New Zealand's largest construction companies and he ran his own building company for ten years. Having spent seven years working as a 'Tischler' (Joiner) in Germany, Robert is fluent in both the German language and in German building. Robert has ten years of teaching experience from working as a construction and carpentry tutor at Unitc in Auckland. He's a New Zealand Licenced Building Practitioner and a member of Certified Builders.  

Sean Maxwell

Sean Maxwell

As the Technical Manager of Pro Clima Australia and a member of ASHRAE and deputy-chair of the AIRAH Special Technical Group in Building Physics, Sean’s driving passion is the organisation and elevation of Australia and New Zealand’s community of building diagnostic professionals.

Sean is an Australian and New Zealand partner of the international Air Tightness Testing and Measurement Association (ATTMA) and is a national authority on the practice of building airtightness testing. He has been repeatedly consulted for advice on the addition of airtightness testing to the National Construction Code of Australia. Sean has led trainings on the Fundamentals of Building Science through an Australian government initiative and has published original research into ventilation and airtightness of high-rise multi-residential buildings through the U.S. Department of Energy’s Building America programme.
